Continuing the adventures of Kyra Issarei and Raiven a` Tor, The Warlord’s Vengeance finds the two lovers running across the galaxy from Mur`dek three months after their last escape. I didn’t believe there was a chance for Ms. Couper to top the initial Shifting Lust book but thank goodness I was wrong. With ruthless enemies intent on breaking them I found myself saddened by Kyra and Raiven’s inability to find peace. Raiven is just the kind of man a woman needs when the earth is crumbling around her. Dangerous, ferocious, capable and unwilling to allow himself to be crushed, Kyra is his perfect mate. She is one of the strongest and hot-blooded female warriors to grace the pages of Sci-fi. Never giving up even as her own powers work against her, she is also passionate and loving. Readers are given everything from luscious sex to eye-popping action that leaves you astounded.  Little warning, in order to get a better understanding of this book you need to proceed with Shifting Lust 1:  The Chamelyon’s Curse first.
