Charles should have known he would be chosen as the detective to go undercover for this sting operation. He is not happy about it but someone has to stop the Vamp Killer. That is what the newspaper dubbed the beautiful but mysterious lady who picked up 6 lonely, plain looking men from Bo's Bar. Charles took a seat at the bar, waiting for the lady to pick him up. If the plan went correctly, she'd take him back to his place, they would have sex and then she would suck all the blood out of his body. On second thought, that was not exactly what he wanted, the sucking all his blood till he was dead part. He wanted his buddies in the sting to crash through his door and capture the Vamp Killer. Charles has one more back up, just in case. The Vamp Killer will never know what got her, nor will she?

The Vamp Killer was a deliciously, quick paced story with just the right touch of erotica. Charles and the Vamp Killer had decent chemistry for the time that the book length allowed. When I reached the conclusion, I had to say my mouth dropped open. The ending was unbelievable and I had to laugh with shock of surprise. I enjoyed Charles and I am hoping the Erika Kaye will continue with more books following this plot idea.
