The Reading was written beautifully, with almost a haunting, poetic darkness. I found myself mesmerized with the spellbinding magic the author weaves with her pen. This story is very sinister and a bit gory. It is NOT a love story, but more of a story of awakening. It is one man's journey into discovering something very important about himself. The woman has her own selfish motives, but then should not surprise the reader. For those readers who like mystical stories with a very dark touch, do rush out and read this one!
