Cimmaron is from the planet of Risches and a Dlog female that needs medicine to prevent the mating call she feels eternally.  Hearing about a job from a passing pedestrian in the Market Place, dirtier and much larger than the other outlander applicants, Cimmaron is sure she won’t be lucky enough to get the job at a local bar. She’s unprepared for her need to procreate and mate to kick in now that she’s unable to tale a suppresser that helps her fight her biological need. Tamaki Grierson, the club manager of the bar, just might be her only chance to make it back to her command station but also the person who is sending her hormones into overdrive. Soon odd things start happening at the bar where she’s working and Cimmaron and Tamaki find themselves more connected than either ever planned.

A woman running from her genetic make-up and refusing to not end up controlled by the whims of a man, Cimmaron fights her desires for Tamaki constantly even when her body is ready to shut down for the need to be with him. A talented beauty with a passion for flying she can’t see that the possibility to love both flying and Tamaki are possible at once. Tamaki takes his exploding voracious cravings with a lot more grace, not expecting to fall in love but not willing to fight the real even if sometimes chemically intensified desires to be with Cimmaron. I found this story to be engaging even when I wanted to choke the heroine for not relaxing more and at least try to enjoy falling in love. This is a great installment to the No Holes Barred series and I look forward to more additions.
