Angelo, a Vampyryn, shuts himself away from family and friends after a
horrible accident leaves him scarred physically and emotionally. Angelo
wishes for nothing more than his own death until the day his prince leaves
something of interest at his door--a picture of a beautiful woman. When
Angelo has a moment, the call of a Vampyryn to his mate fills his mind and
he calls to the woman.
Mya is having bazaar, erotic dreams that leave her terrified. Often times
she finds herself in a dark, lonely, sad place only to awaken with tears
in her eyes and sexually frustrated. The voice whispers in her mind,
calling to her, yet she is unable to go to him and wants him desperately.
Angelo is his own worst enemy. He views himself as a monster, believing
no one can look at him without pity or horror, so he isolates himself. He
knows Mya is his mate but feels so much pain and rage that causes him to
behave in an almost sadistic fashion towards her. Fortunately for Angelo,
Mya is a strong woman. Although she thinks she might be going crazy when
she begins to hear Angelo's voice in her head, she senses his feelings of
hopelessness--she wants to ease his pain and she determined to see
whatever this thing is through to the end.
I
enjoyed reading Angelina Evan's, Stalker's Stalker. It's concisely
written, but paints a vivid picture of the characters' thoughts and
emotions. The sex scenes are erotic and play into Angelo's feelings at
the time. As soon as something traumatic occurs those sex scenes become
love scenes and the growth of Angelo and Mya's feelings become readily
apparent. Readers who enjoy Ms. Evan's, Stalker series will certainly
enjoy Stalker's Stalker.
