Bailey MacKenna knows that consorting with the rebels could land her in
Doinsiún, the Dungeon, but the thrill and the feelings of freedom that she
longs for keep her going back. Unbeknown to her, her Uncle has engaged a
member of the Modartha to make her change her mind. The Modartha makes
Bailey more than reconsider her visits with the rebels also sparks
something in her that she didn’t know existed. Something that is akin to
both fear and desire.
Crevan Byrne is the commander of the Modartha, the ultra-secret police
responsible for the National Security. Brutality is a way of life for them
and being members of the Modartha makes them feared adversaries,
especially since they are also werewolves. Crevan hasn’t been able to get
Bailey off of his mind just the thought of her sends lust surging through
his veins and possessive feelings rushing through his body. When her uncle
offers her to him, he accepts knowing she will not easily be lead by him.
He knows that his biggest challenge will be in getting her to trust in
him. But Craven is determined that he will have Bailey, and her love.
Captivated and
spellbinding are the words that come to mind when describing Spring Winds.
I am a WOLFIE lover and Spring Winds reinforced my love for them. Crevan
is an Alpha werewolf that knows what he wants and will get. Bailey is the
perfect woman for this Alpha wolf submissive with a hint of recklessness
that would drive any alpha male mad, whether he got furry or not. All in
all, a quick read, but a great one. Two thumbs up for this wonderful
series and hoping many more come out of the mind of such a great writer.
