Maureen Lowe is a very talented forensic artist. Her skill at capturing the perfect pictures has helped law enforcement capture many criminals that include murderers, rapists and kidnappers. A very shook up witness provides details to Maureen. The witness is still not happy with the results, even after making consistent changes over and over. The final drawing has Maureen gasping in shock. The picture is of Brody Parrish. He is the most popular man in town and one of the richest. Brody has a lot against him for not having an alibi to fall back on and another body ends up on his property.

Maureen is in denial, she cannot believe Brody to be guilty of anything. For once it is hard for her to be impartial because of her deep attraction to him since the tender age of twelve. They cannot fight the intense sexual attraction between them now that they are grown up. She finds herself looking for the real killer and danger surrounds her in the process. Is Brody really guilty and she blind to it? Is he being set up? What is the truth and what is false?

This novel is romantic-suspense at its finest. Maureen and Brody's attraction is spicy with touches of romance. The relationship that builds between them is done at a leisurely pace done with much class. Despite the romantic aspect, there is a lot of mystery and action between the pages of this novel. The reader will be kept in constant suspense, about what is really going on. There is a nice range of secondary characters, which will keep the reader interested and far from bored. I would recommend giving this engaging novel a try for it will keep you reading until the wee hours of the morning.
