Using humor and the appeal of burning cheeks to beguile readers, Ann Jacobs has created a winner. I found myself laughing at Erica’s quandary, which caused her hunky vampire Tony a few close calls. Add into the mix Tony’s mother from hell, and you have a story that will have you laughing with glee while being kept on the edge of awareness. It’s awesome when a story can give you all the explosiveness you look for but also bring with it a taste of sunshine in a world where darker fetishes prevail.
