Fleur Stanthrope's family was use to her waywardness and nomadic ways.
Being an Australian, she decided to open a bookshop cafe' in Whiteby
England just for the summer. Fleur promised herself that if she survived
the cancer, she would live life to the fullest, never putting off
tomorrow, what she could do today. The last two years of her life had been
pure hell while trying to escape the cancer in her body. When Fleur
arrives in England, she meets Patrick Donnelly. He owns the restaurant up
the hill from her cafe. The attraction is immediate between them, and a
summer romance blooms. Something Fleur never planned on happening.
Irishman Patrick Donnelly has not been in the dating pool, since his
divorce five years ago. When curvy, honey blond Australian Fleur enters
his life at 2:20pm, Thursday the 12th Of May, he begins to feel alive
again. Fleur completes a part of him that he has never felt before. Then
Fleur drops the bomb on him. She is just looking for a fling, before she
settles back into her real life back at home. He does not want to ever let
her go.
Fleur and Patrick are at the crossroads of their relationship. With summer
ending soon, Fleur will be going back home. Do they end their
relationship? Can they end it? If they choose to stay together, how can
you keep such a very long distance relationship alive? They must decide
what to promise to one another realistically. The biggest decision was if
Fleur and Patrick can trust love to guide the way to all the correct
answers.
I
found Long Distance Love being a very soothing, type romance. It is gentle
and realistically driven. Fleur and Patrick are two very mature adults who
answer to no one but themselves. The love that blooms between them has the
endurance to last a lifetime. Most readers will find that this story is
indeed a romance, the story of two people made to love each other. Perfect
book to end your stressed out day with.
