In this second passage from The Courting of Elizabeth, Isabeau’s journey in her quest for pleasure and knowledge continues. Immediately beginning with more discipline for the wayward young lady, M. Hunt and Isabeau resume their dance of desire as they become closer during private lessons together where a deeper connection is forged between the student and her teacher.  Feeling unsure if she is nothing more than a passing fancy for her desirable teacher doubts begin to plague Isabeau leaving her ripe and vulnerable for the attentions of randy young men and a handsome stranger with supposed ancestral connections.

Another titillating addition to a series that charms and arouses readers as it explores the world of an innocent woman tempted by her baser needs. Isabeau’s personal development is nothing short of magnificent as she continues to take chances even when bombarded by unsurety.  As I read, I experienced the tingly feeling of warmed buttocks and flushed cheeks ever present when discipline for the youth was needed.

I have to admit the paranormal addition to the story shocked me at first but when I sat back and thought about the church, religious history and beliefs I can see how it will work.  M Hunt, forever present in Isabeau’s thoughts, takes on more of a supporting role in this segment, as Isbeau becomes the main focus with spur-of-the-moment adventures. A lascivious love story, set in a time where virtue was demanded, readers will find this latest episode just as sweltering as its predecessor.  The beauty of this passage however is deeper development of Isabeau and the progression of her emotional attachment to Hunt.
