Saylor Keene is determined to make her deceased mother's wishes real. She
is going to become a doctor like she promised, even if it means burning
the midnight oil and no social life. This is quite tough to do when you’re
a healthy, twenty-three year old female. Who just happens to still be
innocent when it comes to the touch of a man? Saylor figures she has time
for experiencing sex and relationships, first she needs that degree. On
one particular night, she comes across an attractive strange man in the
library parking lot around midnight. Saylor cannot help but be attracted
to him but refuses to give in to whims like that. She has a goal to
accomplish. Then the oddest things begin to happen. When she drifts off to
sleep, she begins to have erotic dreams about this stranger, whose name is
Thane.
Thane has his own problems for he was cursed by a witch over six hundred
years ago. Thane is an incubus and only finds satisfaction when making
love to women in their dreams. When he discovers Saylor, his heart begins
to quicken. She may be the one he has waited for. Saylor might be the one
to free him and break this evil curse. Saylor and Thane have met in the
strangest way, but sometimes love does not wait for the proper or correct
time.
The hero Thane is a tortured one, who just longs to be human and love
again. He will pull at your heart strings and find yourself rooting for
Saylor to find a way to be with him, beyond dreams. On the other hand,
Saylor finds out that you have to start to live life before it is too late
and passes you by. A very short but quick paced story that will please the
reader immensely. The lengths that Saylor will go to keep this love
surprised me. A passionate love story that made me sigh happily at the
end.
