Haley Rogers is your typical teenage girl with three main problems. A girl named Krystal tries so hard to make her life miserable, boys and a move that she never saw coming.  The only things that Haley feels that she has going for her right now are her friends: Trina, Amanda, Lisa and a rock star named Shadow that she has never met.

Shadow aka Steve Wilson is the lead singer in a band called Millennium. Under the entire rock star image he is just an average guy looking for the right girl to make him whole. Before Haley moves she sees Millennium in concert and believes it to be the greatest night of her life, little does she know that Haley’s move to Texas will lead her to the beginning of something wonderful for them both.

Haley learns that there is more to Steve and Millennium than she ever thought.  Together they find that “Moving to a Better Place” has special meaning to them both and that you can find someone special in the person you least expected.  To me this was a great book.  I think every teenager that has ever grownup in a military family or has had to move because of a parent’s job can relate to.
