Aurora Burton is taken aback when a man intrudes into her mind.  Suddenly she finds herself in the midst of the most sexually intense experience of her life and she's sharing it with her Nocturnal twin, Evette.  Aurora is dumbfounded as for all intents and appearances--the images and feelings in her mind almost feel like a Discernment, however Discernments are only supposed to take place while you are asleep.

Evette is pissed when she finds out that Aurora wants to turn The Carousel into what she considers a "cheesy dating service" satellite branch for the Agency of Extraordinary Mates.  During the middle of the argument she is bombarded with images and impressions of herself in a sexually restrained position.  Although she is stumped as to who this Dark Elf is, she is definitely attracted to him.   

Prince Lyell Karlis is a mystical warrior; the last of his kind, and a member of the Unseleighe Court.  The Raonull appear to have returned once again.  It is up to Lyell to end this evil uprising.  In the depths of a vision while seeking answers regarding the killings that have been taking place the Dark Prince views himself with a blond female and a dark haired female.  Lyell immediately considers both women to be his.

Despite thinking both women are his, Lyell isn't above using sexual interrogation on Aurora and Evette to get the answers he needs to save his race.  However, he doesn't understand the nature of the women he is dealing with because they are Dichotomy.  Evette and Aurora are maddened when Lyell forcibly removes them to another dimension.  They don't understand what he wants with their sister-in-law, Marissa, but they'll protect her with their lives'.  Will Lyell be able to track down the traitor before it's too late?  Are Aurora and Evette going to be able to forgive the Dark Elf for his treatment of them?  

Once again, Aubrey Ross creates a wonderful story in Agency of Extraordinary Mates: Carousel.  This story easily envelops you in the plot and the characters.  There are vampires, elves, and Dichotomy.  Not to be omitted is the hotly erotic sex, some suspense, and visitations from characters in Ms. Ross's previous A.O.E.M. stories.  I'm especially looking forward to Aubrey's next book, A Taste of Twilight; from the members of the Pyrite band--Rafe's story.
